ZWILLING Four Star 7-inch Hollow Edge Santoku Knife

Gave this as a gift. Recipient loves it. High quality steel and ergonomic handle. Excellent balance. Very sharp. Handle reduces at the thumb and first finger pinch-point, to allow thumb and index finger to sit more comfortably, and allow a side-to-side type cut. (Vs. front-to-back.) Has good clearance for the hand/knuckles as a good chef’s knife should. (A Man’s hand : large/x-large.) Goes through meat, vegetables, you name it, VERY smoothly. A joy to use and a very good price. Most used knife in my friend’s Zwilling collection now. Also: 7" is the BLADE length. Add about 9.6" more for the OVERALL length.

Terrific knife! The balance is perfect for daily use. I like the 7 inch length, it's perfect for all my chopping needs. I especially like the ability to scoop up the chopped items and put them directly into the pan. It's very easy to clean.

This is a very good knife. Holds a good edge and is comfortable to use. I don't eat meat, so I don't know how it would hold up to cutting meat joints, but for veggies it works great.

This is my second one of these after my kid destroyed the handle after 15+ years. Comes very sharp, fits my hand and can handle dang near any job.

Superb knife with the perfect blade length and a handle that is easy to hold with comfort. It is razor sharp fresh out of the factory, so be really careful with the cutting edge. It has become my go-to knife for virtually everything.

The knife is sharp and is easy to handle. Cuts well and the grip is good for cutting and slicing. I am glad that I invested in this knife. Although it is expensive but is definitely worth the money.
