I've recently purchased six eyewear retainers from three different well known brand names, but the Cablz Flyz 22" version is the best for my purpose. I barely know I'm wearing it. It is very light weight, doesn't get tangled in my hair, stays securely attached, isn't noticeable. While fiddling with my glasses & my COVID mask, my glasses fell to the ground & the frame broke on the concrete. That is what started me on the purchasing journey for an eyewear tether. The one I'd used for outdoor recreation worked, but was a little bulky for everyday use. Other retainers have adjustable toggles & such that got tangled in my hair & clothes. Some have rigid cables that push my glasses askew if I lean back against a headrest. And some were uncomfortable around my ears. The packaging gives instruction for shortening the 22" length. I wouldn't rely on this for kayaking or amusement park rides, but for my current needs the Cablz Flyz is perfect. Also note that I need to wear glasses all the time, but I think this would be good for people who just need to keep up with their reading glasses. I have not been compensated in any way for this review. I purchased a second item for the same full price as the first because I think it's great and I've known great products to disappear.

Color lasted only a couple months in the sun. Faded to an ugly cream color. Comfortable and hardly know it’s there but the color fade was a bummer. Would not purchase again.

My Hugo Boss specs and Oakley sunglasses frames are both beautiful hues of coyote brown and these cool Cablz camo retainers compliment them both perfectly. Stylish as well as functional, a waterproof stretchy silicone band that can be adjusted to the size of your noggin to stop your designer eyewear sliding off ones schnozzle and hitting the dirt, without ever feeling too tight over the occipital bone whilst at the same time sort of gripping on my shorn locks. Be careful with that adjustment slider though it isn't fully attached and it could slide all the way off if you're careless (Cablz design team take note) as the packer in the Amazon Warehouse can testify (or maybe he never noticed) hardly his fault I suppose as the packaging is minimal cardboard only, no plastic to contain those loose bits dropping off. This is a seriously good bit of kit for sport or pastime, shooting or fishing....my specs are expensive and Cablz are cheap in comparison so my suggestion is use them or lose them. p.s. Amazon customer service are excellent.
