Did not work out of the box
This item is so poorly made that it did not work and it only produced a horrible electronic howl when turned on. Nothing could be done to fix this. Complete garbage.

Does What It is Supposed To!
This is the first budget-friendly boost pedal I've found that can actually be set to unity gain and does not color my tone in any noticeable way.What is nice is that it achieves unity gain at about 10:O'clock which means I can actually turn it down lower than my in-going signal ever so slightly if I wish...this gives me a lot of room to adjust it.Ever other boost pedal I've tried (including ones that were over $100) added a little boost or color even when the knob was down all the way. This one does exactly what a clean boost ought to do.For $20 this is a very nice addition to one's toolbox!
