Best Bucket for camping!!!
This bucket was of great value and one of the most important pieces I packed for 9 days camping in the Grand Canyon. I needed to bath in the Colorado River frequently and while not a fan of plunging my soapy body in 49 degree water this collapsible bucket became so handy in filling and using to dump river water on me instead. I could also fill it and leave it to warm up before doing so. We also used it to fill and agitate when washing a few shirts and undergarments too. Since water was always prevalent I can't say it was completely waterproof but to mine eyes I would say it was and I never had a complaint. Love it!

This would be great for kids and their sandcastles
I got just what I wanted when I ordered this! It collapses to about the size of a frisbee. I wanted it for when I'm at the beach and want to rinse sand off my feet before heading for the car. I just take this into the ocean, scoop up a bucketful and head to my beach chair. I can rinse the sand off, dry my feet, put my shoes on and go! I just empty the bucket then, collapse it, and store it in its carrying case! This would be great for kids and their sandcastles! I like that it's collapsable and easy to store!

Compact But a Bit Small
This item is perfect for campsite use when you quickly want to move 1.5 gallons of water to your cooking area from a centralized water supply. It's collapsible design is ideal for backpacking when space is at a premium. A cover keeps the interior clean between uses. Frankly, adding another 2 inches in height, making it 9" X 9", would have allowed for a little more slosh-and-spill room at the top. Unfortunately, people tend to overfill, thus adding weight, which might unduly strain the materials from which the bucket is composed.

I love my collapsible bucket
I love my collapsible bucket! I work as a house keeper and this is a godsend as I use public transit. I like the hard base. It stays up when it's full but you do need to be careful not to knock it over. I use this severa times a day 5 days a week and I knocked it over a few times at first but I got used to being cautious.

Perfect for camping/fishing
This is a great bucket for camping and fishing. For hikers I will write that it takes up too much space in my backpack and so there are other alternatives. I wanted a bucket for my bug out bag as I know that water is a fundamental need and in order to use my water filter I first have to have or collect some water. Also, from a survival perspective, I think that fishing and having fish to eat is one possibility. This bucket will work well with that in mind.

great for camping and prepping!!
This thing is great. I initially got it as a way to transport water in my Bug Out Bag. It is durable, lightweight and comes with a Frisbee like zippered case. I live in MA and we recently had a rain storm, water started to literally waterfall from my basement window right next to my electric water heater and we needed buckets, fast. got this thing out and with a regular bucket prevented massive flooding and damage until we stopped the water. The camo is just nifty.

REAL 5 star review!
I really like this handy little bucket.I use it to haul lemons from the lemon tree at the barn...It's convenient and it has not had one tear in it at all.I bought it several months ago.I bought and paid for this item, so you know my 5 stars are real, not bought. ;-)

Okay for carrying water.
These little collapsible buckets will not stand alone. They lack a stiffener spiral. For a water bucket, they're probably fine - but I don't need a water bucket. I need a small container on the ground by my RV door to drop dog poop bags into. Simple as that. This doesn't work for me. I returned it to Amazon.
