This works perfectly to bring a small speaker closer to where I watch TV, in order to keep the TV sound down. By having a small speaker closer to where I sit, it enables me to keep the television sound at a non-intrusive level.

This product is an extension cable for plugging into an audio device. It has the standard 3.5 mm plug for earphones, microphones, or both. It can be used with earphones that have a built in mic also. It is 20 ft long and has 1 male end and 1 female end. It cannot be used for an AUX chord without another adapter. I have heard no static or interference when using it. It is useful for recording audio while filming at a distance.
