I used it for a month. It do what it supposed to do but I can see some tear around the edge of the leash. Worry about the long term life of this product.

Great product for the price. We just brought home our first puppy (golden retriever) about 9 wks age, so I am looking for a "beginner" set for the puppy since he will grow very fast, and very likely will have a different collar / leash set later in his life. This combination fits him very well ( has to tighten it all the way). will buy again

This leash is okay. If you have a small dog you like to walk close to you, this leash would be a good choice. I ordered a large thinking it would be good for a chocolate lab and I'm afraid it's a bit too small/short. It seems pretty well made but a determined dog could probably chew or pull through it if it was the wrong size, like I've got. It's not bad for the price but I think I will stick to retractable leashes from now on. This one may be going to the animal shelter.I got this dog leash at a discount for reviewing purposes. I didn't really look at how long it was before so the mistake is on me, but I probably still wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

I was given a chance to receive a discount on this item in exchange for an honest review, so here goes. This is just an okay product, and at this price I'm not impressed. For what this costs (without discount for review) I would be very unhappy. It's a lightweight, slightly better than dollar store quality stuff. True enough I'm a leash snob, having shown and raised dogs for 30+ years, so I expect a lot. I used this as a teacher for my English bulldog while giving a bath, and it did work fine for that. Nylon is very durable and it is strong, but lacks the weight of a doubled and stitched premium lead. With his weight and strength I definitely would not want to walk him with this leash, as it would hurt my hands. For puppies or smaller dogs that wouldn't be the case. Overall I just give this two stars because I don't feel as though it's really a good value. Again, I did receive a discount in exchange for my honest review.

This collar and leash set is a well made product. It is made of a heavy nylon material with a plastic clip. Definitely not designed for the larger breeds such as Labs or larger. This set is reasonably priced compared to others I have found that you will pay the same price for just one of the two pieces. If your looking for a nice collar/leash combo for your shitzu or Pomeranian this is it. If your looking for a set for your Bulldog or Pitbull you will need to keep looking.
