Celebrity: A Novel

I’m a long time admirer of Thompson, but is book is not up to his high standards. Confusing as it goes from one time period to another and one character to another. Not much point to the book

The quality of the used book is fine but it took almost a month for it to be delivered, I even paid shipping fees!!!!

If I ever decide to re-read a book, this will be my first choice. Characters so very well portrayed . I was hoping the story would go on and on . Thomas Thompson is added to my list of favorite authors.

First read this as a teenager and it is still very good. I believe I have read this book at least 4 times!

Loved the book and finally found another copy of it. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie and need to get a copy of it off of ioffer.com. The story is about three friends who decided to do a little hell raising around their graduation. It spans 25 years of their life and at the end of the story one is dead, one is charged with his murder and the only eye witness to the whole event is mute. Or is he?Then follows and a very interesting trial and an ending that I didn't see coming. I think that you'll enjoy it if you read it or watch the movie.

Due to the Coronavirus, I like everybody have chosen to stay home. I rediscovered Thomas Thompson. I remember how much I had enjoyed his writing years ago.I was not let down. Loved this book, got another one

Wanted to read it because it is set in Fort Worth 1950s. Competent murder tale, following the lives of three young men who were present at the scene in varying degrees of culpability. Good historical research went into this.

One of my wife's favorite books. She was satisfied with the condition of the book.

First became aware of this novel when I watched the mini series and had to purchase the book. This was many years ago and my paper copy is now very tatty with browned pages. Bought the kindle version and once again I was hooked. The story has a timelessness quality and I'm sure parallels could be made with America today.

I first bought this book when i was 15yrs old,so my copy is very dog eared,a new copy was needed,the story,the characters all captured my imagination,that i have read and reread many times,really good book
