Sturdy and roll great on a smooth floor
I have a garage where I have to rotate a side by side 90 degrees so I can also fit my trailer in the garage (I have a supporting post). I quickly jack up my UTV - slide these under (the handles are helpful) and lower onto them. The casters are metal so the floor should ideally be smooth. I can move up to a 2000lb car myself - slide the front, slide the rear. The casters have a lock but I haven't found a need - i just chock them if I am worried at all. They do increase the height of the vehicle about 3" but I have absolutely nothing negative - they just work and work well..

Rolls great
I have used these casters for multiple heavy things. They are easy to put together and have been extremely durable. I bought them to move a heavy appliance and they worked wonderfully. I’m how using them to roll a car around which they were intended for.

Awesome with more uses than just cars!
I now own eight of these. They're awesome to put under equipment to move around the garage and barn. I use four attached to 4x6s to move a 3500 lb piece of industrial equipment (requires both my wife and I to push it though). I also have two under the edges of a 600 pound (6') farm brush hog and can easily move that around the barn myself. The others are under a snow plow blade and work great.

They work well under a Suzuki Samurai.
They seem to work well under my samurai. The wheels are steel, not plastic. Just make sure you lubricate the wheels before you put them under a load. They maneuver ok on smooth concrete. If these hold up well in the near future, I will upgrade my rating.

Another superior WEN product
Purchased WEN products in the past, they never disappoint. These wheel dollies are very sturdy and heavy, black gloss finish looks great. Locking wheel adds safety and installed handle allows easy handling of the dolly. Bought two sets and could not be happier. Car rolls easily on a smooth garage floor. Small issue with one piece in my hardware pack but WEN’s customer service express shipped me a complete set of NEW hardware. Excellent value! Very pleased with this purchase.

Great item
I was concerned that the wheels were small at 2 1/2", but they are steel and hold the weight of a car perfectly. Rated for 1500# each, but certainly overbuilt with a very conservative weight rating. Unboxed them, installed the wheels and was able to roll my car exactly where I wanted it positioned in the garage. Amazingly, less expensive than the 1000# ones advertised by a well-known freight importer, with a nicer triangular profile to hold the tire.

Spend the extra $$$ and buy a quality set
TLDR: The steel plates are fine...casters are embarrassingly terrible - just know you will have to 'upgrade' these with high quality casters - or better yet, save the time, trouble and money and buy a high quality set to begin with.I'm old enough to know better...buy quality first and only cry once...but cheap and cry and cry and cry.I read the other reviews and purchased these with low expectations - I expected them to 'function' - I figured moving my car around would stillrequire some effort but something I could do by myself. In theory I only need to move my car twice a year...once to push it to the side of the garage for winter storage (today's task) and once to push it back to the middle and drive it out for the summer.I put four of these under my Audi TT roadster...a two-door convertible that weighs about 3,500 lbs total. My garage floor is an unfinished (not epoxy coated) but smooth poured concrete slab.By myself I could get the back end to 'wiggle' slightly...with two people pushing we were able to get the back end to 'swing' slightly. The front end was frozen in place...didn't budge. We tried rotating the casters for the intended direction first and still couldn't get the car to move. The main problem is the caster axles...no bearings at all...just a bushing (which by the way isn't even greased). You'd probably have an easier time just leaving your car on the ground and skidding it.The steel plates are fine.Save yourself the trouble and buy a higher quality set if you need to move a car.
