High quality, but aggressive
This is a very well built razor. For the price, the quality is exceptional. The chrome finish is flawless, better than my Merkur. The shave, however, is not. Maybe my skin is too sensitive, but this razor is too aggressive for me. Maybe going back to a sample pack with this razor would help, but my Feather blades pair too well with the Merkur to consider that.

Noob Review
Let me clear... this was an experiment for me into the world of safety razors. I like the nostalgia. With that said, all I have to compare this product to is my trusty Gillette Sensor. It is like comparing the Wright B Flyer to 747. The technology has changed so much, that I had taken it for granted. With that said, I am determined to make this thing work. I like getting 100 double razors for $20, right? Well, keep in mind that you will also need expensive crèmes, linaments, styptic pencils, and possibly a tourniquet.The first bit of advice to give another noob is DO NOT PUSH! Your face will look like someone just took a belt sander to it. And it hurts... for days. Before you try this thing, watch videos on Utube. You need to know what you are getting into. These things are not an instant switch over. I still use my Sensor if I am in a hurry or not up for a morning trip to the Hanoi Hilton before work. I did pick up Derby blades and trashed the Sharks (aka Pirhana) that comes with it.

Sturdy piece of manliness
After reading "the art of manliness", I decided to give these kind of razors a shot. I was very surprised by how sturdy the safety razor is. It definitely is worth over $30 USD, so if you find it for anything less consider it a steal.

5 stars!love it, love it, love it.solid, beautiful.. be careful or you might cut yourself.. duh,, they are not as safety oriented as the cheap plastic junk but the blade will glide smoothly and firmly accross your face and they are a pleasure to use!!

Identical To The Merkur 180 Long Handle!
I compared it to the Merkur 180 Long Handle and it is identical down to the blade angle. Heavy feeling in hand makes it feel much more expensive than it is. The shave was great. Overall I am amazed at this razors quality, especially with such a low price tag.
