Garbage - bends when faucet is installed.
This plate is garbage. It is thin pressed metal and has no internal support or tabs to hold the plate down on the extra holes you are covering. There is only a foam gasket inside the plate. When you begin to tighten down the faucet the plate bends and raises off the sink. How does this product have 4.5 stars. I am really beginning to questions Amazon's rating system. I made a hard plastic spacer in my shop to stop it from bending. Look for a deck plate that has threaded metal stems to go into the extra holes.

Needed a deck plate.
I bought a new faucet. It did not come with base plate. This one matched the finish of the faucet perfectly. Looks great, fit perfectly, easy to install, great price.

Used this to install a new faucet over a 3 hole cutout
My sink has a 3 hole cutout. I purchased a new faucet, all in one. This allowed me to install the new faucet plus cover the outside holes.

Perfect
Had an old cover that was the shiny chrome which I don’t like. I had bought a Fossett and needed the cover to match. It matches perfectly love it!

It worked for me.
I purchased a kitchen faucet and needed a piece to cover the holes. This was ideal. Great product! Make sure you check any measurements before purchasing; different faucets have different diameters.

Aquafaucet 10" Kitchen Sink Faucet Hole Cover Deck Plate Escutcheon Brushed Nickel
Aquafaucet 10" Kitchen Sink Faucet Hole Cover Deck Plate Escutcheon Brushed NickelThis is for the above mentioned plate that covers your pre-existing holes if you switch from a two handle to a single handle. As soon as I installed the new faucet with this plate, and tightened it down, I noticed it began to bend in the center from the pressure. Both sides began to "wing" up. This item needs to not be hollow inside, or needs a spacer to make up for the pressure being exerted on the middle. Kinda bummed I didn't think of that myself, and now my plate is bent. I'll have to pull it off later and bent it back, space it out myself, to fix it.
