My Fairy Doorways - Princess by Horizon Group USA

Bought this for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. She writes her fairy letters, and waits patiently for her to pick them up and return a note back. There is glitter and note cards included. I took the glitter and a few note cards and hid them in my room to write back. That way my daughter, who’s clever, never knows I’m taking paper and envelopes from her little bad. The glitter is meant for parents to sprinkle a little when the fairy comes to visit as a sign she was there. There’s even a small envelope labeled “adults only” with instructions and ideas. It’s a nice setup. The only thing I don’t like is that each piece (door and mailbox) hang on the wall with just one nail and a picture frame hook on the back of each piece. Which means they can swing around and set lopsided in a wall if you hit it. A little putty or double sided tape helps.

As a teacher I know that it is important to get kids writing. When my step daughter was struggling with writing her letters properly we bought her a fairy door. I taught her the friendly letter format and she began a pen pal correspondence with "her fairy". It allowed us to focus on sentence structure, greetings, and closings. She was also able to practice letters, spelling, and developing and communicating her own thoughts which can be a bit difficult for young children in the context of a letter. I have recommended to other teacher friends to use this in their classrooms to get their students writing. I might recommend second or third grade and below. You may be able to enlist a well behaved 4th or 5th grader as a classroom helper to assist in writing letters back. The door is good quality, sturdy, and you simply hang it on the wall. It comes with fun little decals that my step daughter enjoyed decorating around the door with. The package also came with a book with the story of the Fairy that lives on the other side of the door and little stationary and fairy dust. This is a great idea.

i have a 5 year old who has non verbal autism and potty traininv has been IMPOSSIBLE with him ive tried everything only for it to back fire ... one day i was watching shark tank and saw this and thought it was cute and firgured id give it a try ... after 2 days my son is excuted to go potty so the fairy will leave him gifts and trinkets this is incredable best $20 ive ever spent thank you soooo much for making this i actually cried for real i cried when my son came up to me and said he had to pee so the fair would leave him a present im nit so hapoy aboutvthe glitter becuase its everywhere but i could care less and am happy becuase it works and my son is now potty training and is excited and he loves the magic fairy dust from her wings and that is more important to me than anything .... it is amazing

The book is not listed as being in Spanish. Wish there was English version that could also be included.

Ordered 3 theses are so cute made so well and durable this is the cutest any girl would love theses the girls were so happy easy to set up comes with a really cute book too definitely this is a must to buy

First off, super cute door to add to the tooth fairy experience for your little ones. The added fairy writing experience would have been great, had we been able to read the story with our little girl on her big day. She now has a fairy friend named Ella that we have summed up to her maybe wanted to share Spanish with her. We are so frustrated as we speak English and English is shown throughout every photo of this book in the listing. The Spanish or English version should be a choice if you have both. It is not like we can pack up this door and just return it to the tooth fairy. Can the maker of this sweet door reach out to us? Maybe send us a book in English so we can really meet Ella? The mailbox came with plaster chunks in the bottom that were falling out. Our girls were picking them up. I mean really? A little less magical. The mailbox also came with a crack on the side and you can barely get the cards to fit inside due to the giant plaster chunk as you can see. Can you please help? We'd love a new mailbox... maybe a little more functional? Mom to mom, dad to dad... this is meant to be a magical experience for children. Please help!

We got this because our foster daughter was starting to lose her baby teeth. It is so convenient to have her leave her tooth in the mailbox for the tooth fairy and get some money in the morning instead of trying to sneak in the room and find a tiny tooth in the middle of the night. Best idea ever. So far it seems pretty solid and as a little whimsey to the hallway outside of the kids bedroom. My girls like to stay up and lay on the floor with the bedroom door open facing the fairy door to see if they can catch the fairy in the act!

I bought this for my daughter for her 8th birthday. She loves it! Every night, she writes a note to her fairies (which, I purchased little garden figures & different items such as a slide, teeter totter, benches, etc from a local store) and after she's asleep, I go in & move them & write back. Now when she wakes up, she is so excited to see where they are & what they've written back. It's just as fun as her elf before Christmas!

Why have we received a non-English version???? It’s in Spanish or some similar language? Also the door doesn’t open??! Very expensive for such little in return! I would love a refund!
