I tried Resveratol after I gave up the booze and thought I was losing out on the health benefits of red wine [which is a source of Resveratol] even if I was reaping the benefits of stopping drinking alcohol. I can't say as I felt anything one way or the other while taking these. But should I have expected to? As I've said in reviews on other health food products; you're taking a lot on trust. The health supplement market is completely unregulated. So you're never quite sure if you're getting what it says on the label. And, of course, this week's health fad often turns out to be next week's discredited snake oil. I like to try new supplements if the claimed benefits seem to have some scientific basis and the product is reasonably priced. With this stuff, the claimed benefits might have some validity but the cost is too much to be taking these as a regular supplement. So I'll pass and move on to the next miracle Elixir of Life.
