I live on a farm and recently our local power company began to regularly turn off our power in order to work on the power lines down our street for future road construction. I set up three of these lights on our stairs outside and one near a door in another area. All four lights have been great and help to save our batteries in our flashlights. I prefer the soft yellow glow over the bright white, so I am enjoying these so far.Photos: Keep in mind my cell phone did automatically brighten the images slightly.

We have these lights coming down from our deck to our hot tub. They are so much nicer than having to leave the house light on.

We have a stone wall and six steps off our backyard lead to a large fire pit area. Living in the woods we were in desperate need of low lights for steps but had no electricity. Solar lights hopefully are the solution. These 6 solar lights provide sufficient light to guide our steps to fire pit. Unfortunately the wall is stone with no flat surfaces. The screws and sticky tape provided were not sufficient to mount lights. I tried heavy duty Velcro but rainy weather caused a fail. In the end I placed the lights standing on the side edges of each step (safely out of foot traffic while still allowing the solar panels to recharge). So far success!

From 5 stars, changed to 2, due to durability- almost 2 years. But, after being accustomed to lights with replaceable batteries, and purchasing a box of Amazon Basics batteries, found that the lamp ones are not replaceable. I guess will return the batteries. Does these lamps have any guarantee?
