Patco 580 is primarily used as a border tape for the screen printing industry. This specialized graphics protection tape blocks screens from moisture and chemicals during the screen printing process. Patco 580 will prevent ink from penetrating beyond the image area making for an easier and cleaner printing process. You can adhere Patco 580 Screen Printing and Graphics Protection Tape directly to screen mesh making it a good solution for block-out applications. This can be especially useful for multi-color printing and complex designs. Also, use Patco 580 to cover pinholes and registration marks. Features and benefits include an excellent solvent and chemical resistance, offers good adhesion, yet clean removal, tough and conformable backing, fiber-free, recyclable core, and long-term bonding strength.
