Very Effective and Attractive!
We have a fairly large patio and I have 2 umbrellas for the seating but wanted something more adaptable for over the BBQ. This shad sail is perfect! You can't put an umbrella up next to the house close enough and the square shape of the sail is just what I needed. The company shipped it quickly and it came with the hardware needed to put it up. I chose the one that's not waterproof because I like the material better. This one is a coarse, canvas type instead of the waterproof ones that are like nylon or something. I thought this would breathe better and last longer. It's very thick but pliable. At a value price I was afraid it may be thin or sown crooked but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It's true square in shape and the seams are all sown evenly and straight. The hardware comes in different types, like double sided hooks that adapt in length (you can unscrew the shaft to make it longer if needed), carbine hooks and plates that screw in plus have a hoop. It was installed in literally 10 minutes. The only thing you need is poles or some type of anchoring. We attached ours to the house on three sides and then made a frame from 2X4's that I am going to attach lattice to and make a planter for the bottom. This created a movable privacy screen that will look pretty and anchor the sail too! We are amazed at the amount of shade it provides and the difference in temperature underneath it. When the wind hits it, it gives a bit but doesn't billow. Love the color too, it's a nice golden beige. Great find!

I love this product
I love this product. Memphis has powerful sunshine in summer. I need some tent to prevent sunshine for my patio. This is the best product I find for my open patio. The Hardware Kit is stable and easy to handle. I can install it by myself. I hang one side on the roof to make it like a wall to stop sunshine. The material looks like very stable. I am not doubt it can last for at least 3 years.

Awesome product
I bought this wanting shade in my backyard. Super easy install, nice quality and a good size. Its provides good shade without blocking too much of the sun out. I even left it out during a storm and it handled all the rain. Very happy with this product. A+ across. And I love that it came with the hardware, so install is less than 10 mins.

... for a month and it seems to be working like a charm
Only had the sail shade for a month and it seems to be working like a charm. Yes, rain does come through a little bit, but I am not usually out in the rain. Provides enough shade to make sitting on the porch pleasant. We hooked ours onto wooden posts from a pergola, makes it look so much nicer than the cheap lattice that was there before.

So far so good, I am using it as a patio shade draped over my balcony, it has made a difference in keeping out the sun which warms up my south facing apartment patio door, just wish that there were more sizes available.
