All you need to do is take a small handfull and wet it and just throw it on the hot coals of your charcoal in your charcoa grill for a quick burst of smoked flavor. Or wet it wrap in some foil use fork or sharp object to make few holes in it got to have the holes for it to smoke good . And then throw it on the hotcoals or if your useing a gas grill lay on the lava rock or just lay it where it get good and smoking hot, to add Great smoked flavor to whatever you be grilling it's that easy.
