I am telling you, this is authentic Louisiana gumbo!Get you some bone-in/ skin on chicken thighs and brown some andouille sausage and sit back for omg amazing.Cook in beef broth and you think you're right there at a table in Louisiana!I'll never buy Tony's or Zatarain's again for gumbo.It's that good!

Brought home a bag of this from my vacation in New Orleans. Not as good as mine but definitely good enough if you don’t want to make the roux. Excellent flavor, but a bit salty. You can also add more that a pound of meat. I threw in 2 and a1/2, but will put in 3pounds next I make it.

Taste like the Creole gumbo mix I used to get at a bulk foods store but.... there are no dried veggies in the mix, only rice and seasonings.

The best seafood gumbo ever
The best gumbo ever! This beats any restaurant gumbo I have ever had. I add a pound of shrimp and a pound of sausage and its done in just a few minutes, very easy. I like to add a little rice, but be careful not to add too much.
