101 Christmas Minis, Book 2-Packed with Traditional Holiday Designs for Ornaments, Gift Embellishments and More

Neat little book! It’s exactly what I was looking for to make some simple Christmas ornaments with my kids.

All of these designs are small enough to fit into a three inch hoop as shown. They are relatively quick (the gingerbread took about 6 hours and the Merry Christmas took about 2 hours). I backed them with poster board and glued on a ribbon hanger tied in a bow. I found the hoops, poster board and ribbon all on Amazon since I have no craft store near me.

Good variety but diagrams are small, not for a beginner

This proved to be a good collection of cross stitch patterns. These will be used for handmade Christmas ornaments.

Old fashioned patterns are hard to find and I am well pleased

There was no picture of the finished cross stitch pattern. Most difficult was the symbols at the bottom, that explain which squares use different colors, are so small and fuzzy you need a magnifying glass to read. Also, the DMC numbers for the floss is given but no color listed, so I had to buy a DMC chart to look up every color needed for the design.

I had been looking for awhile for some new cross stitch patterns. These are a nice small size & can be made in a short amount of time.

I ordered this to make some cross stitch Christmas tree decorations. It’s excellent. I found plenty of patterns that I really like and they are small enough that any practised cross stitcher could complete in an evening. I really like the twelve days of Xmas which could be stitched as a full sampler. I’ve completed about 20 of them on 16 count Aida and they look fab on my tree. Still got plenty to go at so I might make cards ready for next year. The patterns are really easy to follow with a good colour charts and instructions. For the amount of patterns you get this book is great value for money. All you need to buy is your Aida and threads. I think this is a book I will return to again and again.

Chose this because of the patterns displayed on the cover of the book but sadly not many of them are inside. Will definitely use it for Christmas projects but shame many of the patterns I wanted aren’t inside

Bought this and really looking forward to making my own Christmas decorations. After I purchased the fabric and got the threads, I had to give up as everything is so small. I enlarged the pattern I wanted to start with, but then trying to see the colour codes I just found impossible , such a shame as it could have been really good. For the sake of using a few extra pages to make everything slightly larger and easier now waisted.

Superb booklet. The designs are ideal for card making as well as ornaments for a Christmas tree. The designs are in full colour with symbols, which is a bonus. Worth the money, just wish I could find the first booklet in the series.
