If my daughter has a size 8 waist but size 8 length is way too long, would a size 6 plus be appropriate for her?

That could fit, but I'm not quite sure .My daughter has very long legs and went from a size 8 to size 10Very fast due to the length. He is 4.6 feet tal and weighs 67 pounds. Very small waist bit long legs. I hope this helps a bit.

Waist is a bit larger. I ordered a 18 and that was too long. Then ordered a 16 plus and that fit fine as a reg 16 is too slim. Same with your 8. the plus is a larger waist.
