Perfect fit
Perfect fit for our GE stove hood vent. It was a little more flimsy than the one I removed, but it fits and works as it should.

It's like paper
These are so thin, just picking it up would bend it.This would have been OK, if it had arrived undamaged beyond repair.The quality is lacking. So much so, I don't even think it would do the job it's supposed to do.The mesh is very thin, so I believe any particles that it should stop getting through, would actually still get through. Performance - zero stars.The fit would have been great. If it hadn't been so bent out of shape.Do yourself a favor, spend extra and get something of much better quality.Poor value.Avoid.

They have no charcoal layer. It's only a metal filter.

Better than the Original OEM Filter
The original fan filter disintegrated in the dishwasher. I needed something to replace the OEM filter, and the manufacturers filters were twice the price of two of these filters. These filters look and feel at least twice as thick as the OEM filter. I've not run these through the dishwasher, now I just run a couple of inches of hot water with a squrt of Dawn, rinse it well at let it dry before I reinstall it. I'm really glad that I decided to try this brand instead of the overpriced GE hood filter.

I was surprised at how easy it was to install the screen protector, really didn't think it would fit my application. however the fan works better than the original fan filter. It has better flow at removing orders and smoke.
