Have to squeeze kind of hard, I might just be a weakling, but still works.

Weighty, with a smooth, shiny finish, as you'd expect from good quality stainless steel. It can crush a clove with the skin on, though it's harder to squeeze. Since I like to get every bit of garlic, I prefer to peel the clove first, and the included garlic peeler works surprisingly well.

YES! no more garlicky-smelly fingers! Product works great, sturdy and EASY TO CLEAN! YES, LAWD!

After over a decade of searching, the 1$ IKEA garlic press is still the best among the competition. Not only does this crush garlic with carpel-tunnel inducing difficulty, but the juice splatters everywhere so I have to make sure I'm using this in a deep pot or bowl. Do not recommend.
