Beautiful lavender taste
Massive fan of the teas and I was so pleased to see this little gem that you can add to water. It tasted lovely and reminds of the night time tea, you only need a little in a water bottle and it’s made it so much easier to drink plenty of water a day.

Sugarfree? Doubtful.
How can this be 'sugarfree' when it contains concentrated fruit juice and honey? I cannot find nutritional information for this product range anywhere, including on Pukka's own website. Selling it as sugarfree sounds like deliberately misleading advertising.

Great in principle, disappointingly unappealing drink in practice
As a keen drinker of Pukka’s teas I approached this unusual syrup with interest, but unfortunately I wasn’t convinced. There are some positives. In packaging that makes it look like an essential oil (even down to the plastic dripper that you find after unscrewing the lid), a teaspoon’s worth is enough for 500ml of drink, which is really rather a lot. On the first go I used an actual teaspoon, as directed, and instinctively licked the spoon afterwards, and that was good- a sort of chamomile version of buttercup syrup in a way.Once diluted though, it’s just much less appealing. Visually, it’s a sort of grey-green dishwater colour, which combines badly with the earthiness in the scent to result in something that essentially has the appearance and aroma of dirty water. The taste is subtle, but in a way, subtly wrong- it’s predominantly chamomile, but there’s certainly lavender in there, which turns out to be a bit odd in a flat drink. There’s a comparison between this and a weak sugar-free lemon squash. I drink plenty of chamomile tea, sometimes cold if I forget I’ve made it, and I would rather drink cold ‘real’ chamomile than this.It fares slightly better in sparkling water than it does in still water, the sparkling aspect giving it just a hint of that real Victorian lemonade style- but unfortunately the taste is still too weak and anaemic to really work. It’s a fascinating idea, and despite not being won over by this, I would still try other flavours of it because in principle it’s a good idea. This flavour, unfortunately, did not tick my boxes.

Fall asleep in minutes!
I am someone that struggles to fall asleep in the evenings as my brain is constantly bussing and thinking. Chamomile has always been a plant that’s been effective for making me for asleep faster. Having chamomile drops instead of teabags is slightly different but I love how convenient it can be. For instance, I don’t have to have a tea but rather can have a cool cup of water with a few drops of this blend by PUKKA and within a few minutes of drinking this refreshing and calming blend, I am off to dream land. The blend by PUKKA includes other plants and herbs including spearmint, which is known for improving digestion. Perhaps you are struggling to sleep after a heavy meal? A few drops of this in a tea or cup of water will help ease your stomach and hence allow you to fall asleep easier :). I personally have been adding about 5 drops to my peppermint teas in the evening and I’ve loved every sip of it. A little goes a long way with these drops so should last me about a month of daily use. Fairly priced though Pukkas tea bags are currently a lot cheaper with better value. Still a great product by PUKKA nevertheless, 5 stars.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Stick to your teas, Pukka, not this unappealing sludgy hybrid
Sadly, underwhelming and visually unappealing and murky, like stagnant water with bits in. Best drunk wearing a blindfold!I love Pukka teas, but these 'add a dash to cold water' hybrids of herbal tincture and flavoured water are a something and nothing disaster, in my book. This is faintly bitter (chamomile, lavender) faintly sweet (honey) and faintly sour (lemon) But wholly horrid. The flavour giving stale water a run for its money. Sorry to say the rest of the bottle was tipped down the sink and the bottle chucked into recycling. Exactly like the stimulating version of this I tried a week or so ago
