Bloody difficult but worth it
If you want something to stretch the mind take. Look at this one. I know I’ll enjoy it when it is eventually finished

Lo máximo en calidad, en especifico este del Bosco. Mucho mejor corte y encaje de piezas que cualquier otra marca que haya probado, pero incluso mejor que Nighthawks, Edward Hopper, de la misma Pomegranate.

This is another difficult puzzle. I really enjoy doing difficult puzzles.

My first experience with a Pomegranate puzzle was in my students' media center where we donate old puzzles and the kids have tables they can sit at during lunches and work on them. I fell in love with one by Charley Harper and decided to buy one of my own by Edward Gorey before purchasing this 1000-piece replication of Bosch's center panel in the triptych commonly known as "The Garden of Earthly Delights," a painting I first saw a few years ago in Madrid's Prado museum and which is faithfully reproduced in hi-res in this puzzle, right down to the cracks in the now 500-year-old paint of the original. Though more expensive than the ones I usually buy from Bits n Pieces, it is a far superior product and experience. There was no dust in the bag, the pieces fit together so well that when I went to break it down I was actually able to roll the thing from side to side without any pieces falling out, and the colors were vibrant/true to the original. The quality is good enough that I would glue it and hang it if I had the wall space. I paid around $20-25 for the puzzle, but it took probably 30+ hours of sorting and building, which means my cost-enjoyment benefit clocks in at under $1/hour, which is far less than going to a movie, and for me, far more preferable. My only frustration, and this is true of nearly every puzzle I have ever done, is that the box lid, which is the only reference image (there is no separate poster) is so grainy that it's hard to tell from the small and detailed pieces what part it it might match to. Perhaps it would be too easy to assemble without that hurdle, but I could see how others would find it too hard to complete. Putting in a hi-res poster and providing the box lid image would provide a choice to anyone attempting such a difficult challenge and meet the needs of both types of puzzlers. I have bought another new Pomegranate puzzle and have four more on my Christmas wish list. Highly recommend.

I really wish it had a paper poster of the picture. I am having to use my iPad for detail. the matte finish is perfect for puzzle assembly, but mutes the detail.

Pomegranate consistently makes high-quality puzzles and this amazing 1000 piece Bosch puzzle is no exception. I purposely seek out unusual puzzles that are not the typical pretty flowers or sailboats and this decidedly controversial piece is both thought-provoking, packed with symbolism, and gorgeously detailed. I am still working on this puzzle and it brings me so much joy to be challenged whenever I sit down to work on it. It's well-made, very challenging, and a definite conversation piece. I recommend this puzzle to people who enjoy puzzles that make you think, both while assembling the picture, and about the deeper meaning of the image.
