Cacao-Beet Milk aka Chocolate Milk!
I originally purchased this organic beet juice powder because I wanted a natural color for DIY products. I was also aware of its many health benefits, and I often try to get things that have multiple purposes for the best value. This beet powder is very vivid in its red color. It tastes and smells very strongly of beets, which I can't say I love. However, it does smell and taste very fresh, and I don't doubt its efficiency. The bright color of the vegetable is what gives us much of its nutrients. Beets have antioxidants and phytonutrients that help contribute to a healthier heart and body in general, and it really can't hurt to take it on. It can give you more energy and help detox your body, which in turn usually helps clear your mind.I began experimenting with the powder, and I ended up only drinking it in that form only a few times. I eventually mixed the beet powder into capsules with L-theanine, which is an incredible supplement. It's an amino acid found naturally in green tea, but mostly in Matcha green tea, which is a treasure in its own right. L-Theanine makes you feel relaxed, focused, energized, calm, happy, and creative. I figured that might make an interesting combo with the anti-aging health benefits of the beet powder. At the least, it made an attractive one, which I ended up posting a video on Youtube about.I often mix my powder supplements into Emergen-C vitamin fizzy drinks. They come in packets and are very useful for your immune system, and they help you get better from a cold fast! (Try elderberry & Zinc right away if you start feeling under the weather- it works!)So I tried adding some beet powder to the EmergenC powder, and it tasted reaaaally beety if you know what I mean. It was like straight up vegetable juice. It's not necessarily a bad taste, but it tastes very potent. So I added more water and it was alright. The next time, I only added a little bit of the beets so that the taste wasn't so overpowering.Next, I blended the beet powder and organic cacao powder with vanilla coconut milk to make a healthy "chocolate milk" drink. I added just a tiny squirt of vanilla creamer to cheat, and I had to mix it up thoroughly with a handheld electric frother. The drink came out really well, tasting healthy but tasty, but again, I had to restrict the amount of beet powder I put in.When you first try the powder, start with small amounts so you can get used to the flavor. I'm sure you smoothie lovers can find a way to make it work. If you're already used to stuff like wheatgrass (yuck!), then beets should be a cakewalk!I gave my experimental chocolate milk drink to my parents, and they absolutely loved it! I mean they chugged the cold, refreshing drinks down, and I was pretty amazed. Mostly because I realized I'd discovered a genius way to sneak my parents the healthy stuff they aren't consistent with.Processed chocolate and commercial hot cocoa are really unhealthy and totally packed with sugar, the one main thing we all must try to eliminate as much as possible to maintain health. So somehow the beet powder was complementary to the raw cacao powder.A couple months after that night, I was totally blown away when I saw a powder supplement blend on sale online.. it had cacao powder and beet powder in it! Ha! I really had no idea that it was an actual thing. It was truly a random experiment. But hey, that's how miracles are found, right?Just know, this beet powder takes some work to blend well into liquids. So it helps if you have something other than a spoon. Otherwise, this is definitely a good product, and I'm going to continue putting the beet juice powder into capsules to ingest. It's just a lot easier for me that way.The L-Theanine on the other hand, is sweet and pleasant to just pop in your mouth and chase with water. You really don't need to put THAT in a capsule.

Be careful if you have a history of candida overgrowth
The good about the Beet powder? It has vitamins and minerals other brands don't have especially selenium which is really good for t4 to t3 conversion with or without a thyroid. It has a light root flavor that doesn't over power you and is easy to drink even with just water. It can be good for people with gallbladder issues. The bad? The powder sometime is in clumps and is very hard to mix 100% unless you blend it.There is one thing you have to watch our for if you are considering using this. If you have a history of Candida overgrowth or other fungal infections then this can actually make them worse or bring them back. Beets are high in sugar which will feed the bad yeast. It happened to me unfortunately and see it happened to someone else who wrote a review. If you have a healthy properly operating digestive system then this can be good for you. If you have digestive issues especially with candida overgrowth then I wouldn't recommend this.

Excellent Benenfits
great quality. Does have that slight "dirty" beet taste but the benefits are worth it. Mixed in a smoothie it's no problem and takes away the afternoon snack cravings. All round, just a great anti-oxidant high in beneficial vitamins and minerals.

Yes! Great product~~~
I have two small kids, and they are very picky. I add a spoon of this beat powder into everything... cooking, pancake mix, smoothies, you name it! They never complained about the taste and helps them get that great extra nutrition.I personally like the taste. You can tell it's pure beets. Really great value for the price as well.

Yummy
Very good product specially if you use it in a blender because it doesn't dissolve very easily with a spoon
