Adds more shade to patio umbrellas

This was just what my southwest facing deck needing. Not complete shade but enough to be comfortable in the late afternoon scorching sun. Wish I had found this sooner!

I purchased this product to help screen us from the hot, late, afternoon sun. Even when we tilt our umbrella, it is impossible for some diners to enjoy dinner because of the sun beating down upon them. This product definitely screens out the sun, but it was not enough to allow comfortable dining outside in the afternoon. I purchased a second shade screen and clipped it in place over the first so that I had a double screen. Better, but not enough. We finally folded over the double shade screen (so basically 4 layers of shade screen fabric). That configuration has done the trick. The versatility of the product allowed me to come up with a configuration that worked for me. Note that the description says that the screen is weighted. What that means is that there is a hem on the bottom that adds some weight (but not much) to the bottom of the screen, however, as an FYI, the shade screen will still blow around with the breeze

Use these for my pop-up tent, keeps majority of the sun out, but let’s the breeze through
