A good size for a child, fits a good amount of things in without being too big. It has been used daily as a daycare bag for nearly a year and is still great, very little wear and tear! The cup holder is a little tight depending on the size of the cup. It fits most kids water bottles but some of them are snug, like the munchkin 360
