Won't last long, cheap designed.
It is a good reel if you are pan fishing. I noticed right away when I was spooling it up the entire body of the real would torque. Thought it might be my reel seating but upon further inspection it was the reel itself that twists. No way it could hold up to a 4 or 5 pounder. I get more and more disappointed with Daiwa, quality seems to be going downhill. This LT thing seems to be their latest gimmick. Reel is very smooth at least, only reason I am keeping it.

Smooth
So far so good, I had it for 2 months now and still smooth as silk ,iam using it in fresh water only .the 2500 series is perfect for largemouth bass and pickerel .Been fishing for 50 years ,so I’ve had a few reels in my lifetime.The 22 pound drag seems overkill with such a small real and I would have liked to see a screw in handle instead . But for the price I can’t complain .

Nice size and SMOOTH.
Haven't used it yet, but feels really good in my hands. Thinking I'm going to really like this reel. Smoothest reel in my arsenal to date and I own a total of 11, 6 spinning and 5 bait casters. My 3rd Diawa and have no complaints.
