Very good, for the price
I had never used a snoot before this, and was quite pleased with how much control I can get with it. I also like how easily it attaches to the Bowens mount on my monolights and even my speedlite to Bowens adaptors. Putting the honeycomb in the snoot gives a very tight control of the light. I doubt that I'll ever use the colored gels, but it's nice to have them, just in case. Each of these gels have a peel-off protective layer that needs to be removed, but they provide good surface protection, so I'm leaving them on until I need to use them.

Adaptable.
Nice size, fits our Calumet monolights, and even can be used with our Alien Bees. Better yet it's small enough to fit in the case(s) we use. The filters that come with it, not so good as they are prone to distortion from the heat of the modeling light. Swapped the diffusion one out for a piece of velum easily. All in all a very useful item for in studio or location.Would I buy again? Why yes, yes I would.

Works good minus the grid
Snoot is good quality but the gels are really really thin. Grid is super cheap as well. Gives a weird output to the lighting.

What's In A Snoot?
Fits my s-mount rings extremely tight; no visible light leaks. Works exactly as the same more expensive type from other manufacturers. For the $$, the included honeycomb grid is okay but, we're talking about a snoot. Its a little to thick for use with speedlights. Definitely appreciate it but, is it really needed? Hmm. Maybe more beneficial with constant lighting or monolight flash units.Note: my lone concern is the quality of the color filters. They seem to be simple cutouts from art/wrapping cello. But, I didn't buy the snoot for the filters.

Cap doesnt stay on but otherwise I love it
The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because the cap that holds the grid and gels does not stay on if it is angled in the slightest. I ended up taping it on. Easy fix for an otherwise good product for the cost

Does a good job
Seems well made, nice smooth lightweight metal finish and no sharp edges. The filters and grid go into a cylindrical nose cap that you can put on or leave off. Only took off a star because the grid that comes with it seems really flimsy, very thin brittle plastic. You can almost smash it just pushing the cap onto the snoot.

Great build! Could improve on QC.
The build was solid. The packaging was tidy and neat! The gel filters appeared to be cut with scissors and not cut out to shape using a template. The edges seemed a little messy. The honeycombs came in good condition.I HIGHLY recommend that the seller provide a link to purchase spare honeycombs. If you buy this snoot, you'll definitely need extra honeycombs as they are very fragile.
