I was initially a little sceptical about whether this kit would for my beloved leather jacket that had a 2cm x 2cm L shaped tear at the top of the arm. It took some time, patience and lots of layers to get a reasonable result and, whilst it is not perfect, the original tear was a real mess and I don't think that the repair would be noticable to anyone who didn't know it was there. Anyway, it adds the battered look of the jacket :) What I would say to anyone trying this is don't give up; don't believe that black is black (mine needed some white), keep layering, drying & smoothing and then do it all again until you get a result you are happy with. I am totally delighted that it helped to save my jacket. I wish I had taken a before picture to show the transformation!!

When I came to use the product, only clear liquid came out the nozzles of all three supplied bottles. After a good few minutes of trying, I eventually gave up and cut the bottles open to reveal the congealed, unusable mess you see in the photo.Unfortunately, I'd purchased the product a few weeks ago and was waiting for some warmer weather before I attempted the repair, so had passed the return window, and am now out of pocket.The kit had been stored in a drawer indoors, so it had not been exposed to any temperature extremes (while in my possession, at least).In some ways I'm glad I didn't get as far as applying it to my car seat, given the terrible quality of the product.I don't often leave bad reviews, but this is an absolute stinker - avoid, avoid, AVOID!!

Bought this to repair a rip in a Motorcycle seat. So its been three days, still sticky and refusing to dry. Easily makes a mess, both the Black Dye AND the filler tubes burst at the ends, covering me and the seat in Dye ! About to wipe it all off and glue a patch over the rip as it seems like a better option than going through this again. Have a feeling it will never work right. Certainly wouldnt buy again. 👎

My son sat in the drivers seat with a screwdriver in his back pocket with this kit it was easy to repair.

A really good kit, BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. Read the little book and take your time, You will find it will pay dividends and give a perfect repair, You may well be surprised to find you will have a hard job finding the repair spot in the future, Realy good bit of kit.

Opened the box to find 3 tubes. 2 x black vinyl compound and 1 x white colouring agent. All 3 tubes were solid i.e. the contents had already hardened and were therefore completely unusable. Returned to Amazon and have already had my money refunded. I gave feedback to the manufacturer and have given them a chance to respond before submitting a review on here. 5 days later and they haven't replied so I assume they don't give a xxxx.
