This is an outstanding set of steak knives made of top German steel and design. They feel good in the hand, which is what you want with an expensive slap of steak. They come razor sharp, and I maintain them with just a couple passes of the steel after each use. I only go to the electric diamond sharpener about every 6 months. One does have to be careful with them, as they are scary sharp. It looks like it will be a once-in-a-lifetime purchase. I like that.

These are a really good quality set of steak knives without completely breaking the bank. The handles are comfortable and blades are extremely sharp. Very nice knives.

Got these to match my Wustof set since I can’t find the matching steak knives since Wustof doesn’t make them anymore.

They feel good, easy to clean, and look nice. I would buy again and suggest them.

If you are looking for non-serrated knifes ... look no further. Great set and great price. Went thru a dishwasher without issues and blemishes. Couple weeks in and loving them so far

Why are steak knives so expensive?? Mercer pulls through once again offering a decent price point for how many knives come with it. others are 2 maybe 3 for the same price as mercers 5. I opted to get this smooth style so in the future i can sharpen them unlike serated knives its very difficult to sharpen them again

Each knife arrived paper cutting and shaving sharp. Handles are rubber like and very comfortable. Well balanced and relatively light weight, as fine cutlery should be. Individually wrapped in plastic sleeves in a plain brown cardboard box. Nothing fancy there. If you prefer to cleanly slice your food, rather than shredding it apart, non-serrated edged knives are a must. Keep in mind, the edges will require honing from time to time. And people, stop throwing good quality knives in the dishwasher. There’s plenty of cheap disposable knives available in the marketplace for that.
