Q: Does this rug have the natural (original) leather/skin underside?

This one does, yes. Unlike the Safavieh brand that has a woven fabric underside. This one seems to be of higher quality and is softer, I'd recommend it.

Q: Are these products washable?

Yes, these are machine washable. We do recommending getting a sheepskin fur brush and brushing the fur while wet (if washing at home)

Q: Wool clothes make me itch pretty bad. I want to use this rug to put on top of my leather recliner. Will I have the same problem?

As far as size, I use mine on my office chair and it fits / works perfectly! As far as your itch, I'd say if you're allergic to wool, then this is not for you.
