Rockville Studio Monitor, Black, 8 inch (APM8B)

To start off, I can easily say that these are on the same level as big brands like KRK, I have these 8 inch monitors in a decent sized space and I get a lot if power out of them. I love it. And my mixes have been coming out a lot cleaner. The only gripe I have with these, is that the volume knob is on the back and it didn't come with a usb or composite cord to connect to my computer.

I am using these on my computer with a Fiio e07k these speakers sound like there 300 to 500 dollar speakers i cant go pass 50 percent volume on my PC when the speakers are turned up all the way our my neighbors will call be calling the cops. Everyone out there spending 2 times our 3 times for the big name brand name ones are just wasting money. These speakers rock. Please forgive me for my grammar worth subject back in school.

The best thing that I heard EXCEPT when I heard it first because I got a headache. Nevermind about that. No problems whatsoever but the noise floor. It is noticeable (sounds like a whisper) but still it gets annoying sometimes and the packaging says APM8 not APM8B which like made me a little mad until I look at the photo given in the front page. Best $180 monitors yet.

These are the best kept secret. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these speakers. What caught my eye was that they actually listed which amp and crossover board they where using. For the price, I figured why not give it a go. So I did.My last set of studio monitors where Alesis M1 Active 620's, which had a fantastic sound but lacked a bit of bass. Upgrading to these APM8B's I find the extra deep (30hz) frequency range very pleasant. The highs are extra detailed and I can really hear the depth of the mix. In fact, on a few reference tracks I was noting sounds I had never heard before.Long story short, these are well worth the price. I'd compare them to speakers around the $699 price range.

Better than I expected. Sounds great and seems to be good quality so far. I would definitely recommend it to budget buyers
