The Carstens Amplification 2x12 is a closed back extension speaker cabinet. Each cab is hand made in the USA using baltic birch. Inside the cab is one 12" Celestion Alnico Creamback speaker and one 12" Ceramic Eminence Tonker speaker, hand wired to 8 ohms. This combination of ceramic and alnico speakers delivers a beautiful sonic frequency range of warm lows, rich, vocal midrange and chimey, 3D highs. The clarity and punch of the ceramic speaker perfectly compliments alnico warmth and bell-like tones. This cab is the perfect compliment to the Carstens Amplification Warm Machine amplifier as well as a great cabinet to accompany any other guitar amplifier.
