OFGMRD08 Ford And GM Engine Oil Filler Funnel

Device works just as good,if not better than Snap-On's. Device works as intended and prevents an oil fill up disaster

I had to buy this funnel because without it you cannot put oil in a 3.6 V6 chevy traverse without making a great big mess under the hood.

Photo shows why instructions say "Do not Over-Tighten". Albeit the funnel anciently fell off a shelf a week prior to using it and may have had a hairline crack. Plastic pieces ended up in valve train, but thankfully were easy to remove due to being just large enough to not slip through space between oil filler port and cam. Funnel is made of Polycarbonate, probably due to its high melting point. Others have reported cracks, it would be prudent to use a less brittle plastic. Perhaps Nylon 6 (410 °F) or PBT (420 °F) would be a better material.

Makes adding oil to a 2.8 duramax (2017 Canyon) easier! And fits perfectly! :)

Must have for gm dealership tech, has one brand new snap at the neck first vehicle, got a replacement no problem and been fine for over a year

Nice to not fumble with a funnel while pouring oil.

Fits perfectly in the oil fill location of my Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, Makes it easy to pull off a clean oil change with no drips or spills. UPDATE: Also works perfectly on my 2024 Chevy Silverado with the Turbomax.

I use it every day at work because I work at a GM dealership, as a matter of fact I ordered two of these. The first one I got and gave to a co worker who told me the first time they used it they found it was cracked through. They work great but one of the two I ordered arrived damaged.
