All Natural Cedar Grilling Planks are made in a family mill from local Maine Eastern White Cedar. Minimally processed, each plank is somewhat unique though are packaged in pairs of roughly the same size. Soak the cedar planks fo one hour or more before grilling your favorite fish, chicken, or seafood to desired taste. Preheat the grill and close the lid to maintain 300 to 400 degrees. Place the planks on the grate. The boards are ready when they start to smoke and crackle just a little. Place the food on the plank and cook with lid closed. Popping sounds will occur due to steam leaving the plank during cooking, which is normal.
