I have used this brand before and it needed replacing after the cat chewed a corner. I wouldn't consider any other brand. This was a 2-pack. I keep one in the freezer and I use the other one to heat in the microwave. They stay hot/cold as long as I need them to. Great product!

I've had other hot packs that give off odors that upset my stomach, but this one is odorless. Holds the heat for a long time. The strap works great to hold against my forehead to relieve sinus pressure. Fits perfectly against my lower back with the strap tucked in. I caution new buyers to follow the heating instructions exactly. I've gotten impatient before and exploded one by reheating it before it had completely cooled and one by heating it for just a little longer than recommended. Bought the double pack so I'll have a back up just in case....

Just rebought these for a lumpectomy and they were a lifesaver with the swelling and discomfort. They mold to you, have a sleeve to out them into and have velcro if using on arm or ankle. Have used these for years and live the versatility and that can be used hot or cold!

It's a excellent product, but the velcro closure wears out too soon. I wish they had another (microwavable) fastener.
