GREAT to carry in bike bag!
We recently took a big vacation that included bringing and riding our bikes. Since it was mid-March we had to be prepared for anything from snow/ice (which we got) to rain (which we got) to warm, sunny days (which we also got). We got these ponchos to carry in our rear bike bags in the event of rain.Luckily, we didn't get any rain while riding, but we did have several occasions where we had to pack/load/unload/walk/hike in the rain, and these ponchos were great. They fold up really small, they're lightweight, and they're extremely waterproof. If they have any negative it's that they aren't very durable, but we expected that.. They certainly lasted for our trip, but I wouldn't expect them to last through more than a dozen or so uses before developing tears. But, if you can appreciate these as relatively cheap insurance that you can use a few times then replace, they're great.

A Very Good "Emergency" Poncho for Non-Emergency Situations
I tried on the poncho. I am 6'-2" tall. The poncho came half-way down my calves, so the length is good. I need to try it with a backpack on to see how much coverage I get. The width covered most of my arms, better than some other ponchos I have. The poncho measured 48" tall (96" when unfolded) but only 59" wide - one inch shorter than advertised. However, as I said, I think it did a good job of covering my arms.It is made of light-weight material. But if you're not running through brush, it should hold up for several wears. And it has no grommets or snaps on the sides. You might want to keep a length of cord handy to tie around the waist to help keep it closed in high winds. It took me a while to unfold it because it had so many folds in it. I wouldn't wait until it's already raining to get it out of its carrying bag and use it for the first time. I have no intention of ever trying to put it back in the little bag it came in.Remember, this is advertised as a light-weight, emergency poncho. It's not intended to be a full-time poncho/tarp/tent/ground cover. But, I think it will do a lot better than many other so-called "emergency" ponchos. And it's a lot lighter than my regulation Army poncho.

Perfect for unexpected rain..
Way too many times coming home from a 4 mile walk with my dog, it started to rain. Never fails it happens 1 and a half miles from home. This item is light weight. I just throw it into my backpack. I have used it several times. It is heavy duty. I even had to use it to protect me from cold. It folds up neatly and placed back into the pouch it came with! I love it.

Perfect for a get home bag.
This seems to be a very good quality emergency poncho. Great size and weight. Will fit almost anywhere as it comes packaged. Mine even came with a ziploc bags with drain holes to store it in after use. Heavy trash bag like material. Better than any dollar store poncho out there.
