Red Fox Mission Survival 3: Sands of the Scorpion

I liked this book as it had both practical survival lessons that a child could remember and perhaps use in many situations. I read this book because my grandson was reading it and I wanted to know what he was reading. I enjoyed the book even though it was young children.

Ce livre est un livre pour adolescent. Ecrit en anglais, il est tout de même facile à lire avec un bon niveau collège. L'histoire est prenante, avec pas mal de rebondissements qui font qu'on ne s'ennuie jamais. Il a été écrit par Bear Grylls, l'aventurier de Man vs Wild, et comme on peut s'y attendre, on retrouve dans ce livre plusieurs "trucs" utilisés lors de ses shows. Chaque tome est indépendant sur l'histoire elle-même, mais il y a une histoire de fond que l'on retrouve tout au long de ces 8 tomes. Il faut donc les lire dans l'ordre. Celui-ci se déroule dans le désert du Sahara.

Bear Grylls is my son's favourite TV shows, so these books were very helpful to help with his school reading!

My son has found a good hero in Bear Grylls. His books are a good outlet for kids to go along on an exciting adventure and pick up some knowledge too. We appreciate what seems to be a sincere faith in God by Bear and his recognition that what he does isn't in his own strength but in Jesus who is the ultimate Savior and helps you survive any circumstance of life.

To be honest i didn`t do my homework on this book before i bought it, i thought i was buying a personal story book, if you know what i mean, but as soon as you start to read it you get it`s a made up story,but what a story,i have watched a lot of bear on telly and i know he has been in these situations.Big text and this book can be done in a day or two,great as a bed time story
