UPDATE: I had to go from 5 stars to 3 because my unit started on fire Thanksgiving afternoon, and we were lucky to smell it before something really bad happened. I admit, I just threw it on a charger that may have been a fast charge, but this is something you should know can happen. It's too bad because I absolutely loved this thing.

I got this the day after ordering it. It was on sale so I thought why not. I like to watch my iPad while cooking but running water or the vent-a-hood will drown out the stock iPad speakers. I wanted something small so I could carry it in my purse. This speaker is super tiny. It's smaller than a shot glass.It charged fully in 20 minutes. And it paired easily. That sound was great. It's not louder than my bigger speaker but that won't fit in my purse. It's loud enough that I didn't have to pause when washing things in the sink and I even had the dishwasher running and still could enjoy my show.I placed the speaker in a coffee mug (both speaker and mug lying on their sides) and the sound increases even more. That's an acoustic trick that helps a lot in a noisy house like mine.Either way this little speaker was nice to use and has decent sound. The battery lasted 6 hours before I turned it off for the night. It didn't die. I just needed to stop cooking and go to bed! I'll use this a lot as I am an avid Baker, Canner and Preserver so I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I'm very happy with it.I didn't test the shutter feature. But I will update this review once I do.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm quite impressed with this little guy! I bought it for my desk at work and it'll be perfect. It came well packaged, with a charger and simple instructions. I appreciate the instructions, I've bought blue tooth devices in the past that didn't come with great directions. These are very simple. The device is so easy to use. Tested out the shutter and it worked perfectly! The sound is great. It gets a lot louder than what I was expecting or need it to be. I'm very happy with the quality of the sound. The video doesn't so it justice.It's got a little grip ring on the bottom so it won't slide around or easily get knocked over too. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase so far.

This speaker is TINY and extremely portable - definitely its highlight. Because of that, I was a little nervous about the sound quality, but it also sounds amazing, I'm really happy about it! When the volume is turned up all the way, it's a little funny because the vibration of the sound can sometimes move the speaker, so be careful if you put it on the edge of a shelf or something, haha. The other functions of the speaker are also really useful, all using the power button - it can be used to take selfies from some distance away (it comes with instructions on how to switch between selfie and keyboard mode - in selfie mode, click the power button once with the camera app on your phone open), can turn up the volume (in selfie mode as well, with the camera app closed), and can play or pause the music (in keyboard mode). It also comes with the charging cable and a small cord that can be looped onto the speaker. The cord has a plug to put into your phone's headphone jack, presumably so they can stay or be carried together.

I gave this three stars instead of two or one because I do like it. I just wish it wasn't somewhat disposable. And by that, I mean, once it's completely run out of battery, it's dead forever, and you have to get a new one. But that's the only thing that's bad about this thing. It doesn't deserve a one star or even a two star. It's okay as far as that as long as it's charged, it works. And when it works, it is great. But because of a very vital flaw, is why this gets an it's okay three star rating.I hope this feedback is found helpful to the company that made this so that hopefully maybe it's problems can be fixed upon release of newer models, that if this company plans on releasing newer better models. Ancord, if you're reading this, please know that I love your product, just that it needs some improving. Please make it so that a newer version of this thing doesn't die so easily. And that when it does, it can't actually successfully be recharged and still work.

I usually try and write the review of the product that i buy. This one is AMAZING!!!The size is true to it's description. It is micro and it is smaller than my little finger in height. and about 3 such speakers can fit my palm. That's Micro..The sound is amazing, it's loud.. it's clear, it's crisp and it has a decent bass effect. Something i have never heard from a bluetooth speaker for a long time. It is easy to connect two speaker for stereo effect and yes it does give me the stereo effect when setup. Also, the setup is out-of-the-box solution. the second speaker will connect to the first speaker automatically when turned on. You don't need to identify which is the main speaker and which is the secondary. It will automatically sign itself as main and secondary. Amazing technology. The body build is really good and sturdy. 5 star would just be less for this product.

In most states you are not allowed to wear both headphones while biking/cycling. This for your own safety, and cops will ticket you sometimes!I found that by attaching the Ancord speaker to the right side of my helmet with a strap and some rubber bands to crimp the speaker, I can have both ears uncovered and listen to podcasts. Doesn't weigh the helmet down. Volume is great -- solid sound at half power, with a little more power when there's lots of noise around. What's great is that I can still hear traffic around me. When you power the speaker on, it tells you how much battery is left, and I can plug to charge with it still attached to my helmet.Solid battery life seems to go 2-4 hours, which is fine for biking to/from work.Con: It ran out of battery at one point, and about 5 minutes before it made a weird intermittent sound every 15 seconds that was kind of annoying. I get it that it needs to warn you, but it was a bit much -- bleep 2-4 times and then die, not like 30 times. Very minor con though.

Great sound for such a small speaker!
