Bought two of these. Like them both. Was worried they might break, but they have a rubber covering so they won't . Happy with the qualiy of the glass, quite thick. Turn them over with the lid on and they leak. However, lock the cover and turn them over and no leaks at all. Just remember to lock the cover when carrying them around. Fit easily in my car cup holder. Size is quite tall. Good for a days worth of water. Value was good compared to quality of glass. Pop up lid great. Will not hold cold water for long before it warms up though. Haven't tried it with ice cubes yet, but I will.

The best part is how clean the water tastes—absolutely no weird plastic or metallic aftertaste, just pure water. The glass itself feels high quality. The silicone sleeve is essential; it offers great grip and some decent protection against minor bumps or setting it down hard on a table. It also helps prevent condensation mess. It is, of course, heavier than a plastic bottle. The extra weight is noticeable when it's full, so it’s not ideal for super lightweight hiking, but it’s fine for daily use around the house or office. My main concern is that while the sleeve helps, I’m still nervous about dropping a glass bottle and having it shatter. But the sleeve makes a huge difference in usability and peace of mind. It feels durable and looks sleek. If you prioritize taste and reducing plastic, this combo is excellent. It feels much more premium than a standard bottle.

I’ve been searching and buying different types of water bottles for my son, even the most expensive water bottle glass, but this one is by far is the best! Why is the best? Because for me it’s very important how easy can be cleaned, plus how easy to use and so far it’s very easy to clean and no hidden spots where the mold can stay. The only downside is that the plastic lid it breaks fast and I wish that they have replacements for the lid. Just to be clear I didn’t received any promotion or free products.

This is a really good water bottle overall, but the design of the top makes it a little awkward to use. The bottle itself is glass with a rubbery cover, which I really like for both grip and protection. It has a flip-top lid, but the lid doesn't fold all the way back, so when you try to drink directly from it, the top hits your forehead. I ended up using a long straw to make it more manageable. One nice feature is the locking mechanism on the top, which gives me peace of mind when I toss the bottle on the passenger seat (since it’s slightly too wide to fit in my car’s cup holders). Overall, while I like certain features of this bottle, I wouldn’t buy it again because of the awkward lid design and width.

It is a little awkward to drink from, but the quality is unbeatable. It is going to take some getting used to, it is a heavy container compared to plastic or thin metals and I am used to throwing a bottle in my purse. Kept my liquid cool enough for several hours. Cannot fit a standard ice cube into the opening. I like the silicone, it is also easy to clean inside and out. I hate drinking form plastic and am grateful that Ello has come up with this high-quality classy option! I got a second one so it's going to be fine.

I have been using these bottles for many months now. I love that they are dishwasher safe at high temperature. No melting, no warping. No concerns about ingesting unwanted micro plastics either. I have 8 bottles and not one has broken due to the protective silicon cover. Highly recommend.

Perfect, simple design. Intuitive, uncomplicated. Fits a straw inside without it being wedged against the lid, but also designed so the straw doesn't sink down into the rest of the bottle thanks to its smaller opening at the top. Lid is simple to clean, without having to worry about the gasket found in most other water bottle designs. It is leak proof when turned on its side, and the lock seems to work pretty well for keeping the lid from opening unintentionally. It is a bit hefty but that is to be expected from a glass water bottle. The glass is thick, but I recommend being extra careful not to drop it, just in case. I had gone through trial and error trying to make myself drink more water, but I hated plastic, and most reusable bottles had a flaw. Sliding lids, straws, straws with caps, sipper lids, stoppers, plastic, silicone, metal, I had tried them all. This has beat them all by far.

It is nice, but you can only use it inside the house or in the car, not suitable to carry on in a purse because it does leak

Mooie en handige fles. Glas is voldoende dik en daardoor ook erg stevig. Goede dop die de fles volledig lekvrij afsluit. Enige minpuntje is het gewicht van de fles. Maar dit kan niet anders met glas. Ik beveel dit item zeker aan!
