Chicco Nextfit Sport Car Seat - Black, Piece Of 1

We have tried few car seats before this one. Maxi-cosi, Joie, and others. They were very heavy and very hard to use. Comparing to this one, First of all, Chicco price is reasonable. It’s by far, the easiest one to use and one of the safest most practical carseats we have ever used or seen. The design is beautiful and it literally took us 3-mins to fix on thr carseat. The ISO-Fix belt is genius. The car seat is somewhat lighter than other brands especially those for-every-stage carseats as they can also be very tricky to use.

Still not sure how I feel about it. Because the sides are high, it’s very difficult to get baby in and out of it, maybe when it’s facing forward it will be better. For a baby less than 2 years old, I recommend sticking to the removable car seat which has a base that stays in the car. Much easier.The quality is good and it’s very cushioned so it’s probably comfortable.

Oh wow. This is one amazing car seat. Super easy to install with a lot of explation to guide you in the process.We havent used it yet, but this looks super comfy and super safe.Can't wait.

Product is excellent.But It arrived with a broken cover(package) . Which is not acceptable at all .

Very good quality and safety

Sturdy product and my baby seems comfortable in it. Also super easy to install. I bought another for my other twin baby who was using an infant car seat as this seems more sturdy and safer.

Our 2.5yo has had the Nextfit Zip as her main seat at home since she was 10mo. We travel a lot and have used Graco, Britax and Cosco seats. We still LOVE the Chicco design and functionality above all of the others and it’s clear our daughter is more comfortable in it BY FAR. We got the Nextfit Zip iX AIR for our 4mo old because he HATES having a sweaty back and the first time he rode in it he slept for 4.5 of a 5.5hr road trip. Chicco even improved on some things that I didn’t realize needed improvement: the tightening feature is now AMAZINGLY smooth and easy and the seatbelt lockoff is stronger and simpler. This seat is expensive but is easily worth the superior quality.

I echo a lot of other reviews stating the awkwardness of installing (with LATCH) and getting my child in and out of the high sides of the bucket seat. The straps are very difficult to pull to tighten or to loosen. It seems like a solid, safe car seat. My child doesn't sweat as much with this Aire version than he was in the KeyFit and seems comfortable. It just takes a lot of care to get him in without hitting his head on something given the small space between the door frame, car seat and car's seat and to be sure you've yanked on the straps to tighten them down enough. I am confident my child is safe, however I would seriously consider finding an equally safe, easier to use car seat given the option (and money).

We bought this in preparation for an 11hrs road trip. So far we like how comfortable the material feels. The adjustable inclines are great. Our 5 months old seems to like it, so far. His back is not as sweaty or hot compare to the other carrier/car seat we have. It sits rather high in out 2017 Sequoia. Taking him out you have to be careful not lifting him too high, his head will hit the roof of the vehicle. Other then that, it's great. Safe, comfortable, breathable. High safety test rating got us sold.

We purchased the Chicco NextFit iX Zip Air convertible car seat as well as the Gracco 4-Ever Extend to Fit 4-in-1 car seat. Both have some really great features, but the Chicco REALLY keeps my 15 month old baby cooler during naps in the car and on warm sunny days. He usually overheats very easily in car seats, but not in this particular model! Very glad we spent the extra money to purchase it.

I like the seat. I wish it had something to hold the straps to the side while I put my son in. The walls are really high, but that's not a problem in my Tahoe. I do feel like my son's head falls too far forward if he falls asleep.
