Using techniques acquired from producing Buddhist altar fittings and bear-repelling bells (kumasuzu), wind bells offer the fineness of material beauty and the clear sound that only brass can produce. They are individually handmade by our craftsmen and feature colorings that match the material, as in gold itself for Gold, silver plating for Silver, and copper plating for Pink Gold. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Care and precautions for bells -------------------------------------------------------------------- Wipe with a soft cloth or a sponge after use. Treat with diluted dishwashing detergent and lightly rub with a damp sponge/cloth if needed. Then, wipe with dry cloth. Do not rub strongly with metal polishers. Use of hard brush is also prohibited. Although it is finished with clear coat, color of the metal may slightly change. Wind catcher is made of waterproof Japanese paper (some are with cotton); however, it is not perfectly waterproof. In case of heavy rain/wind, it is recommended that you keep it inside. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Care and precautions for brass products -------------------------------------------------------------------- Wipe with a soft cloth after use. The surfaces of colored products are prone to scratching. Do not use hard brushes or metal polishers.
