This stainless coffee filter is simple and great!I freshly grind my coffee each morning and I find the coffee tastes better when poured through this filter than a drip maker because the oils from the coffee are retained. So it's a richer more flavorful cup of coffee.I love the simplicity of just putting this filter over my cup, adding my freshly ground coffee and slowly pouring the water over the top. It does take about 2 minutes to slowly pour the water over the top and you do have to gently wet the grounds and let them sit for 30 seconds before doing the pour over so you get the full flavor.It is totally worth the 2to 3 min for the outstanding taste.I foam some half and half and top my coffee and I find its the best brew in town.Just dump the coffee grounds or use them in your garden and wash the filter which takes a s long as washing the filter basket of a drip maker.Great simple coffee dropper, excellent tasting brew.I received a discount for my honest review.

I'd been using a Melitta cone with disposable/recyclable filters to make my coffee for years, so when I was given the opportunity to purchase this filterless coffee dripper at a discount in exchange for my honest review, I was very interested in seeing how it stacked up against my trusty Melitta. I was instantly and deeply impressed by this product. The steel mesh is so fine that it works exactly like a paper filter with absolutely no waste, and I can empty the coffee grounds right into my vegetable garden without having to wait for the filters to break down over a couple of years of composting. In addition to creating less waste, it makes an excellent cup of coffee, is easy to clean, and has a handy tab that you can use to pick up the entire unit. I'm thrilled with it!I will use up (or give away) the rest of my paper cone filters and use this coffee dripper from now on. I'll probably also buy a couple for friends and family who may not use a Melitta every day but who take them camping or traveling. It's a compact, eco-friendly way to make coffee on the go!
