BERRYPRO Surf Spinning Rod Graphite Surf Fishing Rod (9'/10'/12') (10'-2pc)

This was my 2nd rod with berrypro 10'6" four segment but it doesn't feel like it. I complained regarding crack on its epoxy, maybe manufacturing defect that cannot be avoided. Emailed customers service. And it was replaced no doubt i will recommend this rod being not pricey with a very good customer service. Love this rod light and cast like a pro..

I am impressed!! I have purchased fishing rods from Amazon before an was shocked at how they arrived,. This one is packed fantastic, and perfect shape.. no dings, scratches,broken eyelets.. just perfect. Video will show you better. Great job Amazon

Nice looking surf rod and seems to be built on a good blank with better than average workmanship out of China. After a bit of minor rework I will be fishing it in a few weeks. Beware Quality coming out of Amazon Warehouse is bad. 2 back to back had the tip guide crushed. Not sure it’s fair to give the product a bad review when it possibly was an Amazon issue. I will do an update after I put it to use. Updated: After use I’m very pleased. I’m sure the guide damage issues were related to Amazon warehouse practice not the manufacture. I build custom rods but was so happy with this rod for value of paid price I bought the 9 ft version too, I think she will make a great lure rod. If you get one with a broken guide blame Amazon. For the money I’d recommend trying one of these surf rods.

Read reviews on damage during shipping, looks like they have a solution in place. Had a plastic eye cover on 1st eye from the handle, plastic wrap on the next 2 eyes on 2nd piece of the rod. This really is a nicely made rod. Very nice feel on the handle, well wrapped eyelets, and overall all a great "bang for your buck" deal. I fit it with the KastKing/Sharky Baitunner lll/6000 series reel, a very balanced marriage of rod-n-reel. Super satisfied with the purchase Getting ready for the "doormat" flounder run at Sebastian Inlet, as well as some night fishing at Jetty Park pier for some big Reds n Liners. Great to know this is also perfect for some surf fun on the beach. I'm 59 and this should be my last 10 footer. I did good! Got for it, if you are wondering about quality vs price. It will be a pleasant surprise. Will update in a few weeks.

I read the reviews and took a chance on buying this rod. The rod itself feels great. It’s nicely made and feels sturdy. Not one blemish on the whole rod except for the fact that the largest guide came bent and the ceramic insert was broken. The rod came in a bag with plastic protective wrapping around the guides and a protective rubber cover for the largest guide. The rod was packed in a sleeve and then placed in a long cardboard box with paper. Somehow the guide was still damaged. I’m returning it because the replacement won’t get here in time for my trip. I’m giving it 3 stars because I didn’t get to use it so I can’t give it a proper review.
