Old school excellence!
I wanted old school style boxing gloves and these do not disappoint! They are weighted which helps tone the arms more and not too bulky. The Velcro makes it easy to get off and on, old school style without the lace up! All around love my Everlast gloves!

Great fitting and likely durable gloves!
I especially appreciate the wide wrist straps! After a month or so of use 2 times per week (Parkinson’s boxing-hitting the heavy bag), no signs of wear so far. Excellent ventilation in the palm areas. I am still very early in this Parkinson’s thing, so I can still hit the bag fairly hard for my weight and limited experience with boxing (this is my first experience). My only other glove experience is with ProForce gloves. The fit is nearly identical and I can feel significant difference in padding.

These gloves fit perfectly. They’ve gotta classy look and give a certain mystique. Best gloves to spar and practice in.

Use leather oil before use and they're perfect
I'm a female with a women's medium-sized hand, and for the first use, these were tight and painful to both my knuckles and my thumbs. BUT, after using a standard leather oil and "working them in" with my hands the next use they were super comfortable - and I didn't have ANY pain while using them. Make sure you work the leather around the thumb, too.

Well, dissapointing.
The 14oz gloves fit like they are meant for a child. I could barely fit the gloves on without wraps, and the way the support lays on the palm is incredibly uncomfortable. If you have ever had a boxers fracture and especially if you are still recovering from one, these gloves I would avoid in place of maybe a more expensive pair of HayabusaOn another note the gloves were used when they arrived, with scuff marks on the wrist. Dissapointing. Seems like the only Everlast products I enjoy these days are the apparel and MX series gloves.
