Amazing price, especially labeled "Energizer". I bought two for power out emergencies, along with a suppy of "D" batteries (already stocked like most people with AA and AAA) and I am quite pleased with the light output, light level options, USB port, and the secure screw on bottom - connection. Running on D batteries, these lights will work perfectly for stationary and mobile purposes. I am not sure how they work with only three AA bateries, but if one runs out of D's it is a great option. There is heft and stability in the units when loaded with the three D's. The light level choice and available nightlight for sleeping will allow conserving batteries and extending runtime (the claims are pretty impressive as it is). Serious value for the purpose they are needed.

This little lantern works great! Never sure when there's good and bad reviews. I tested it on the medium setting and it ran 9 days (216hrs) straight with 3 D batteries. Probably would have gone even longer. It does not flicker. Light stays strong. For those that lose power during storms, I would highly recommend this lantern. It's not a big lantern, but gives off good light on medium. High is really bright and that's a positive too. I am using it for my shed where an old feral stray cat is living. The medium setting does not drain the batteries as fast. Now I can go out of town without worrying. I will definitely buy more of these lanterns!

I am very happy with this lantern! It feels durable, emits a strong bright light that lasts a long time, has brightness/color options, and the lantern can charge my iphone. I just wanted something reliable with not a lot of bell and whistles, and this is perfect!

What I liked: • Works with D cells or AA batteries, including NiMH rechargeable batteries. • Reasonable battery life. It runs on "High" for about six hours with AA rechargeable batteries. • Glow-in-the-dark buttons can make it easy to spot in the dark. The moon-glow light setting is even better. Issues: • There's no battery level indicator. • It's not what I would want to rely on during an emergency. Other lights, costing a little bit more, are more durable. Overall, this is somewhere between a toy and a decent light. We use it to provide extra light when we're eating outside at night, and my daughter uses it when she has friends over for a sleepover. However, for camping (and any potential emergencies) I prefer my Glocusent Survival Camping Lantern .

Best lantern I have ever owned. Small size is perfect Durable exterior. Rubberized along the bottom. No slip It has a handle and a translucent square globe. Takes either 3 AA batts or 3 D batts. 3 position switch.....low to high. Although this unit has a USB type C outlet, I can't speak to it being useful or not.

Works OK. Others reviews claim it is very bright, but I do not agree. It seems like it should be brighter for its size, and despite what the seller claims, it will NOT light up a large room adequately. The dimmest setting is so dim it is almost useless except in total darkness. Be aware that this lamp is not rechargeable (to be fair, it doesn't claim to be). The USB port is only for using the lamp's batteries to charge another item. I can't evaluate how long the batteries last, because I haven't used it enough. It is annoying that you have to cycle through all 3 light modes to turn it off. If you are using it on low to preserve your night vision, cycling through high while turning it off ruins it. It makes a useable general purpose camping light for a tent, but its performance is not impressive.
