I had the original spigot that came with my classic ceramic crock water dispenser, originally purchased from Sparkletts 20+ years ago. Finally the spigot/spout broke at the hinge. Looking for a replacement I thought I'd give this one a shot. They work, but I'm not crazy about them. The biggest issue is the flow rate is about 2/3 of the original, which is just slow enough to be frustrating in comparison to what we were used to. The build quality feels cheap. By design, flip it one way, towards the crock and 5 gallon jug, and it locks in the open position. Push it down toward the vessel you're filling and it flows manually. You can kind of make it flow a little faster in the downward position by pushing firmly, BUT I always feel like I might break it with too much pressure. Also the included gaskets did not inspire confidence, so I just repurposed the originals I had. No leaks so far that I can tell from either the seal, or the flow mechanism.I will look elsewhere when these fail, or I get too frustrated with the flow rate.For what it's worth, I might be wrong about this, but it appears companies set up quick shops on Amazon, then switch to a new name and sell the same thing, probably trying to avoid bad reviews. This particular item is no longer in stock and the company that originally sold me this, not too long ago, has ZERO inventory of anything. Probably sold off their dodgy inventory, and now have rebranded is my guess.

Purchased this as a valve replacement on Sangria "tank"... This is more flimsy than the original, but not by much. Thankfully the purchase was for two...I anticipate having to replace yet another in the future. You get what you pay for!

Cuando hice la compra la hice un poco desconfiada de que pudiera cumplir expectativas de calidad y resistencia en el servicio diario de un dispensador de agua, sin embargo han cumplido con éxito, realmente recomendables.
