Panache Swim Women's Anya Spot Bra-Sized Balconnet Tankini

I normally would give Panache 5 stars because I love how they make tankinis with built in underwire bras to fit "the twins". However, while I love the style of this tankini top (it's nice and long!!), the underwires seem to be made EXTRA long and really dig in to my chest in my cleavage. The wires don't usually go up that high. When I sit, they practically poke up out of the suit if I am not careful to sit up very straight. Which of course I never sit up straight at the beach!

Edit: On my 2nd wear, the underwires became unbearable. They were digging into my chest bone the entire time I wore it and I've decided to return this top. Back to the drawing board!I think I like this tankini and am planning to keep it. As a 36HH, I don't have many options, but this is cute and fits. My one complaint is that the underside is visible. I like how high it comes up and it sits flat on my chest (as it should), but the outer fabric gets pulled down by the weight of my boobs so the underwires show. I just wish the striped bandeau Anya also came in my size.

I wear a 40J. Which means I haven't owned a swimsuit that fits for DECADES. This is very comfortable. Yes, the underwire is unusually thick & high, but they are the magic in making this swimsuit work for us abundantly blessed ladies. I was perfectly comfortable for a crazy day of chasing little kids at the water park. No sliding straps. No excess floating fabric. In fact, I was able to enjoy my day without thinking about my swimsuit at all.

Wow! I'm currently a 40F and ordered a 40F. I feel like this top was custom tailored to fit my body/chest. Just like others state, the underwire is odd. It's not like any other bra or suit I've owned but it keeps everything in place. The best way I can describe it is that it hugs my rib cage all the way up to my sternum (see photo). It has wonderful coverage with no side "overflow"! Every bathing suit designer should take notes for us larger chested women! The torso area can stretch pretty far down for modesty or can be adjusted to "scrunch up" on both sides if desired. Overall, I'm very pleased with this (expensive but well worth it) purchase and looking forward to see how it holds up in the water.

First. It works for the girls which is really all I need it to do. Second every other review is correct that the wire digs into the chest bone. I haven't worn it in the water yet so it might get worse but at least trying it on wasn't SO bad. I thought I might be able to bend the wire out a little bit like a bra wire but this thing is really thick! It's made of like super steel or something! Oh well. I sized up and so glad I did. I ordered a 38FF-typically a 38G in us sizing. It's cute Though and the material is good quality.

This Panache tankini top was great for 1 month. Then the straps both ripped out and fell apart. As a Panache bra lover, I am extremely disappointed and especially after spending so much for just the top. I wanted to contact the seller to see if they would replace the top since I ordered it May 31 and it's not even been a month. There isn't any way I see to contact the seller. I'm really bummed.

This swim top is nice but as other users stated the build in bra wire comes up really high and there is not a lot of protection around it. It looked good when I purchased it, however after a couple uses it started to get a lot of fuzzies and I got a red spot between by breasts (sometimes breaking the skin) from the bra wire every time I wore it. The body is long and doesn't fit too tight around the belly. The build in bra provides good support for large breasts.

I could not love this top more. It is everything I needed and I'm so happy to have found it. It fits very true to size in every way and my favorite part is that it comes up high under the arms and hides my armpit chub. It also has a nice long length. Super flattering. The only thing is I wish it also had some minimal padding in the bra area but luckily I had some I was able to attach. Would be nice to have the ability to skip them in and out like on other suits.

I've owned bra-sized swimwear in the past and this is the first suit that I've bought that had a proper bra clasp at the back. What this means is you have to put a little more effort into getting it done up and for me I found that actually to be a lot more effort. I wear a 34 L and I purchased the 34 J as it was the largest cup sized sold. I had a ton of difficultly getting it on and getting the wire positioned properly as it is not sewn continuously around into the suit. Like you would your regular bra, you have to clasp the back but you have the added struggle of having to do so under a layer of tight fabric. Given how tight the fabric was I found myself fighting against the underwire, trying hard to prevent it from stabbing me in the neck while I struggled to pull the suit down.I actually found this suit in store while I was waiting for this to come in the mail and what helped reduce the struggle was to increase the band size. In store I was only able to try on up to an H cup as they didn't have anything larger but I tried on a 36, 38 and 40 band and felt it made it much more manageable to get on and be comfortable in. I could have probably gotten away with going down to an H cup as well given I went to a 40 band but inevitably chose to keep searching. Given the limited supply of swimwear on the market for people like me on the larger end of the spectrum, I would say this suit would work but I'd suggest going up 1 to 2 band sizes from what you normally wear so that you can be more comfortable when you're getting it on and when you're actually in it.
