Light and Dry Eye protection
I've had Lasik with a PRK touch up some years back, but for some reason my left eye was becoming painfully dry at night. I don't know if it's because I sleep on my left side, my cat likes to sleep next to me, we have a ceiling fan on all the time, or allergies, I really found no rhyme or reason other than sometimes I would wake up with a extremely painfully dry eye.I tried a night mask but it did nothing for moisture so I tried this item. I didn't even notice this was marked as a 'mini' either. It fits in your eye sockets but after I got use to that, I don't even notice wearing it. It also doesn't slip around in the night like a regular mask does. I sleep on my side and even then it is staying where it should be. It blocks out ALL light when properly adjusted which is especially great for naps during the day or, if you have someone who has to get ready for work way earlier than you do, as in my case. They can turn on the lights and you don't notice a thing! You can wear it without the removable pads, but the pads can be soaked in water to keep your eyes moist before sleeping. I personally found the full sized removable pads too big, and I didn't like anything pressing against my eye, so I sliced them in half and it works well for me that way. I wear these every night for both the light protection, and the humidity for the eye. Because let me tell you, bad dry eye HURTS.These came in a very nice case as well. Very happy with this item so far.

Great mask!
I have had dry eye for over 10 years and this is the only mask that really is comfortable and does the job at night to keep moisture in I love it!

Concerned at first, pleased at last.
When I first got these out they seemed smaller than I had imagined. It's never good to make assumptions of size based on a picture. But I have had many sleep masks before, including a franken-mask I modified/created using sunglass lenses which lasted for quite a while. My pain causes chronic insomnia which leads to sleeping when and if I can, which can also be during the day. I also open my eyes at night which is very bad for several reasons and creepy to those around me. Usually sleep masks come with the intent and size to cover the eyes and block out the view of light in the peripheral. These worked differently, but have done their job admirably and I find I am quite satisfied with them. While these seem to have mixed availability here, I was pleased to find some and even in Prime at that. TranquilEyes have many kits for most sleeping conditions that involve the eyes. I was pleased with that in spite of the affordability factor. Me, I wanted to keep out light and protect my eyes when they were opened. Most masks fail on that last point terribly. Many employ sizeable fluffy patterns that go from large to humungous. I tried another mask that was so big it was actually great on the ears and did keep out light, but I felt like I was being suffocated in my sleep and they did not protect my eyes, but instead actually squeezed them until I took them off after just a 30 minute test drive. When I put these on there were four things I noticed right away. First the stretching fabric they use for the back, I think some sort of spandex, is awesome. Nice on the ears and head yet keeps them as tight as you'd like! Second, the memory foam style outer border and similar inner pads are neat. They conform to your face and are quite comfortable and soothing. Third, these are apparently for a larger nose than mine. They did block out 98% of light except a small area near the top of the sniffer. (I mostly resolved this by tying a small swath of dark fabric onto the nosepiece.) It would have been nice to have a second nosepiece in the kit for smaller/tighter needs. (1 star) Fourth was that they pushed on my eye sockets more than I thought they would. But undeterred I was determined to give them their opportunity like all the rest. I thought the pressure on my eye socket was going to be too much for me. I also wondered that if the small foam pads inside were touching my eyelids that they would also damage my eyes if I opened them. In the morning I was pleased. I'd left them on all night. They kept the morning light from bothering me at all and best of all my eyes were not blurry or painful from being partially opened.Night after night, they provided exactly what I was looking for. While these are easily far from the cheapest eye mask you can buy, I personally feel, for me, that they were worth every dollar.

Save Your Money - doesn't stay snug & eventually falls apart
These photos are from after a year of use. When first received, I thought these goggles were fantastic. They were snug, and felt comfortable. After a couple months of use, the goggles no longer were snug on my head and would loosen while I slept. My solution was to sew a piece of velcro on one side of the strap. (I couldn't sew it on both sides because the velcro was stickey and ruined my sewing machine/needle. I'd pull the other side of the (unsewn) strap snug, and tuck it under the band and it stayed snug, until...The cup on one side separated from the rubber cushion. I tried hot glue and then strong craft glue - hot glue lasted one night and the craft glue lasted a week. These were washed in soapy water and dried on the counter.I would not recommend purchasing these goggles. Since then, I tried a man's neck tie - works perfectly, can be thrown in the washer, and will not fall apart.

Pretty good
I bought these to help with my dry eyes as I took an international flight. They definitely helped. I liked that they blocked out the light, I can tighten each side, the band that goes around your head is satin and doesn’t get caught or leave a dent in my hair like elastic bands do, and the sponge inserts are removable and retain water reasonably well but not enough to hydrate my eyes all night. The main downside is that I’ve had them for just over one month now and haven’t used them often, but they’re starting to fall apart. There’s a fabric cover over the sponge inserts that’s coming off. Also, the goggles come in a stainless steel tin that you secure with a rubber band. It’s hard to fit the goggles inside and the rubber band comes off easily. I wish they made the tin a bit bigger and that it screwed on or something so it stayed together well on its own without the rubber band.
