Daphne Costume
This costume was SO freakin' cute! It was much larger than what it shows in the picture, and I'm pretty petite, so I took it in and had it altered to fit me. I got tons of compliments on it. The scarf was short, but whatever. I'll probably buy a different scarf next year. Also, instead of wearing the ugly orange wig, I bought a big pink headband and wore that instead. For larger women, I did see another woman in the same costume. She was probably a size 14, and she wore the dress unaltered. It looked a little snug on her, but she looked real cute. She also ditched the ugly wig and bought a different wig and another scarf.

Awful
The dress looked NOTHING like it does in the picture. It is way too long. The scarf looked nothing like the picture as well and was of a completely different material and was too short, I couldn't even tie it around my neck. The wig was disheveled and a mess and wouldn't have been able to wear it. I wasn't able to return it because I didn't get to the post office in time but I would have. I will never buy another costume from Costume Hub again. Be weary...the reviews said the one size fits all was meant for small or medium sizes. I would normally wear a small. I am about 5'3 and the dress went almost to my ankles, you couldn't even see the pink boot covers and it was HUGE on me. Terrible terrible purchase! Look away!

good value
Great costume for the price but the colour is more dark pink than purple. I'm a New Zealand size 10 and the dress was too long and far too big so I had someone take it in and take up the length for me. This allowed us to get the dress to fit perfectly to my size and shape. The boot covers are proberbly the only real let down. They just didn't look right, if you can find purple boots or some nice pink/purple heels I'd go with them instead. The wig is very bright orange and comes with a piece of purple satin glued on as a headband. I think its just the way it was packed but I had some trouble with the fringe; it was all over the place and I needed to use a cooled down straightner to fix it. So if your a smaller size get this costume early as you will definatly need the time to alter it a little.

Girl in the stock photo obviously altered her dress
The girl in the stock photo obviously had it altered. I am 5'2'' and 103 lbs. It is sold as a 1 size fit all dress....but when I got it, i saw the "xxl" tag on the dress... I guess what the manufacturers did was that they had too much xxl dresses in their inventory and decided to sell it as "1 size fits all" and they forgot to remove the "xxl" tag that was originally there. Point is... it is extremely large, and the dress went past my knew and was very wide. The width of the boots were very large as well. I am slender and the elastic did not hold the boots up. There is another Daphne dress amazon offers and it is super cute and sexy....but it is 60$+ shipping and tax..and I didn't feel like spending that much money. However, i was prepared at how ill fitted it would be...but for 20$, I figure I would just buy it for the material and alter everything myself. I ended up cutting 6 inches from the dress and hemming it down to a size zero. I had to re-do the elastic on the boots. I didn't like the wig at all, it looked extremely cheap and the color was too intense, I bought a different wig instead. But if you do not want to invest in a different wig, I suggest soaking it in conditioner then letting it hang to air dry, it should be easier to manage after that. Anyway, the end product turned out great. I threw my costume away after 2 nights of use. It was money well spent. Here is a picture of myself in the costume after the alterations. I modernized "daphne" a bit and made her into "Hipster Daphne" by wearing a knitted cap.

pretty cheap costume
pretty cheap costume. the wig is not at all like it's pictured - barely fit on my head and I have a small head. Dress is one size so it's a bit boxy (I'm a size 4), it hit at my knees (I'm 5'6"). The "boots" are super cheap looking and the scarf is horrible. I'm returning it and making my own Daphne costume. In a pinch, if you don't care what you look like this will do...I guess.

Good quality
This was a great daphine outfit for our Halloween theme! Boot covers don’t stay up, I had to use tape. Other than that loved the outfit.

Don't waste your money.
the costume is only $25, so I didn't expect a lot. However, it was so much worse than I thought it would be. 1) The wig: was all smushed and didn't look like the picture at all. I gently shook the wig out when I took it out of the bag and big clumps of it fell to the floor. I was never able to get it to look like it does in the picture. 2) the green neck tie-thing: it WAY shorter than the picture. couldn't even make a bow out of it. 3) the dress: there were big clumps of black stitching all along the outside of the dress. AND the dress isn't even the correct color. 4) the "boots": are ridiculous. The model in the picture must have had the boots somehow taped to her calves to hold them up. All mine did were fall down every 20 seconds. OVerall: The only things I ended up using were the wig and the scarf. I went to Salvation army and found a dress that was the correct color and added some ribbon to make it look like a real Daphne dress. Don't waste your money. Make you own costume. I'm not very crafty and it only took me a couple of hours to make my own.

The boot sleeves were corny but the rest of the costume was awesome!
The costume is what you would expect from any other store bought costume like this, kind of cheap but gets the job done. There is only one size and the dress was way to long for my girlfriend (who is about 5ft. 7in.) so we had to do some hemming and it looks great now. The boot sleeves look like the bottoms of footy pajamas so my girlfriend ended up buying a pair of pink shoes and pink fishnets to make the costume look less corny. Overall we got what we expected from it though.

This was a last minute costume for my sister. It was a funny night before Halloween, trying to fix this up so she could at least wear it. For starters, the dress was too long; it fit like a sun dress. The wig was also pretty poor 😂. It had all these Annie-like curls which looked terrible. The wig was also pretty frizzy, and we tried to straighten it out, but that didn't really work either. For the price, I guess we weren't expecting anything that good, but this purchase was just pointless. We ended up DIY-ing the costume by just using regular clothes put together that kind of looks like Daphne.
